Katutura: Senior citizens at the Katutura Old Age Home polling station began queuing as early as 05h00 to cast their votes on Wednesday. There was a 30-minute delay due to technical issues, according to Vatjavi Zeze, the presiding officer at the station. She, however, gave her assurance that despite the initial setback, the process was running smoothly and efficiently.According to Namibia Press Agency, Reynold Orlam, a 69-year-old voter who was the first in line, expressed his satisfaction with the voting process. "I feel lucky. It was a quick and simple process to cast my vote, and I'm very satisfied with my decision," Orlam stated. Participating in the Presidential and National Assembly elections for the fourth time, Orlam encouraged young people to turn out in large numbers, emphasising the importance of their involvement in the voting process.
