Tsumkwe: Deputy Minister of Marginalised People in the Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare under the presidency, Royal Kxao Ui/o/oo has called on voters to be sober-minded when casting their votes. Ui/o/oo, who was one of the first voters to cast their vote at the Tsumkwe Secondary School in the Otjozondjupa Region, expressed his gratitude for the day and conveyed his hope that everyone will approach their civic duty with a clear and sober mindset.According to Namibia Press Agency, Ui/o/oo emphasized the importance of voting for a leader of choice and shared his own experience of being among the first to vote. "I am calling on all voters to come cast their votes for a leader of their choice, this is what I did. The voting went well and I expect we will win this and this started by me being number one to vote," Ui/o/oo remarked.The deputy minister also extended his assistance to those in need of transportation to polling stations, underscoring his commitment to ensuring a la rge voter turnout. "I am hoping to see a big turnout and looking forward to transporting those who might need transport to cast their votes at the different polling stations," he added.
