Kavango West police officers rewarded for hard work and commitment

A total 27 police officers in the Kavango West Region were promoted to new ranks for long service and exceptional work they have been doing in the region.

Kavango West Regional Commander, Commissioner Josephat Abel yesterday told Nampa the police officers were promoted at a ceremony held at the regional headquarters on Wednesday.

Abel urged the promoted officials to continue serving the community to the best of their ability since their promotion came through the hard work they have been showing over the years.

The promotions were from constable to sergeant, from sergeant to inspector, and from inspector to chief inspector, while others received medals for long service.

The regional commander commended those who got new ranks and urged them to serve the community because the promotions are not just for decoration but in the interest of serving the community.
