Rundu: The Ngone Combined School polling station, located approximately 22 kilometers east of Rundu, experienced a notably low voter turnout, with only five voters in line when Nampa arrived at around 11:00 a.m.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Bertha Muremi, the presiding officer at the polling station, reported that the venue was deserted when they arrived at 5:00 a.m., and it remained empty when the station officially opened at 7:00 a.m. Muremi and her team decided to cast their own votes to keep occupied in the absence of voters needing assistance.

Muremi noted that voters were gradually arriving, many traveling from Rundu to vote at Ngone due to the crowded conditions at other polling stations. She speculated that local community members might be tending to their mahangu fields and anticipated that they would vote later in the day.

In contrast, the Vhungu Vhungu polling station provided chairs for all voters, ensuring no one had to stand. Voters were organized into two queues: one for the elderly,
those with disabilities, and pregnant women, and another for younger individuals and the rest of the community. No issues were reported at Vhungu Vhungu.

The Rundu Rural Constituency has a total of 5,442 registered voters, highlighting the significance of voter turnout at these stations.
