Windhoek: Enric Mas (Movistar) claimed his first Grand Tour title on Sunday, sealing overall victory in the 2026 Vuelta a Espana after the 21st and final stage in Granada. The short but demanding 112-kilometer stage finished with three circuits through the historic city center and around the Alhambra Palace, after some riders had raised concerns beforehand about the condition of roads to be tackled at high speed.According to Namibia Press Agency, Mas and his Movistar teammates crossed the line arm-in-arm, confirming the Spaniard's overall victory by two minutes and 15 seconds over Primoz Roglic (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe). Austrian climber Felix Gall (Decathlon-CMA CGM) finished third overall."It's been a day of mixed emotions-all positive," said an emotional Mas after the race.
