Namdia Unveils 32 Global Diamond Clients for 2026-2029 Sales Period

Windhoek: Namib Desert Diamonds (Namdia) has revealed its new roster of 32 companies that will be eligible to purchase Namibian natural diamonds during the sales allocation period from 2026/27 to 2028/29.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the selection process garnered attention from 75 applicants across the globe, with submissions from countries including Namibia, Belgium, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), India, Hong Kong, Israel, Singapore, the United States, Armenia, and Zimbabwe. The rigorous evaluation process, based on predetermined criteria, culminated in the selection of 32 companies to become Namdia's new client base for the upcoming three years.

The successful applicants feature five Namibian companies: Avalon Diamonds Namibia, Fine Star Jewellery and Diamonds Namibia, Gayane Trading, Sinco Investments, and Stargems Manufacturing Namibia. Additionally, companies from Belgium, India, and the UAE have also been selected. The media statement highlighted the high number of applications as indicative of sustained international confidence in the quality and value of Namibian natural diamonds.

Namdia expressed its congratulations to all chosen companies and emphasized its commitment to fostering strong, transparent, and mutually beneficial partnerships over the next three years. The company reiterated its dedication to maximizing long-term value from Namibia's diamond resources through responsible marketing and sound governance.
