Windhoek: The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) is currently investigating three separate suicide cases that were reported across different regions of the country on Saturday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, details from a weekend crime report released to Nampa on Sunday reveal that a 25-year-old Namibian man was found dead in his room on Epandulo Street, located in Windhoek's Wanaheda residential area, at approximately 06h50. The incident is being treated as an apparent suicide.

In a separate incident, a 42-year-old Namibian man was discovered dead at Oothadhambuku village in the Onanke area around 11h00. Police have stated that no foul play is suspected in this case and the deceased's next of kin have been notified.

Another case emerged at Oghudi village in the Okongo area, where the decomposed body of a 45-year-old Namibian man was found in his room at approximately 14h56. The deceased, who reportedly worked as a domestic worker, lived alone. A suicide note was reportedly discovered at the scene, and police do not suspect foul play. The next of kin have been informed.

Police investigations into all three cases are ongoing.
