NCS shortlisted candidates to attend assessment test

A total of 15 867 candidates out of 33 259 applicants have been shortlisted for recruitment by the Namibian Correctional Services (NCS) and are expected to attend assessment tests in various regions.

According to a statement issued by NCS Commissioner General, Raphael Hamunyela, on Friday, 15 867 candidates out of 33 259 applicants for the positions of recruit in the NCS have been invited to undergo assessment tests in various regions from 18 to 27 January.

‘The candidates should report for an assessment test at the nearest venue,’ he said.

Candidates are required to bring along their original identification documents and certificates of conduct not older than six months, noting that failure to present these documents will result in automatic disqualification.

He added that the age categories of 18 to 25 years should report on 18 and 19 January, whereas the age categories of 26 and above should report on 20 and 21 January.

Candidates who are reporting in Windhoek, Khomas Region should report to either the Independence stadium or Khomasdal stadium, while candidates from Oshikoto, Oshana, Kunene, Ohangwena and Omusati regions should report at Ruben Danger Ashipala Police Training Center or Oluno Correctional Facility Soccer Field.
