Three housebreaking cases recorded in central areas

The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) recorded three cases of housebreaking and theft in Windhoek and Rehoboth over the weekend.

NamPol, in its crime report issued on Monday, indicated that an unknown suspect jumped over the complainant’s wall in Katutura’s Mungunda Street on Friday.

It is alleged that the suspect opened the door with an unknown object to gain entrance into the house, where they stole one flat-screen television set, one Samsung tablet and N.dollars 3000 cash.

In a separate incident in Wanaheda, unknown suspects allegedly used an unknown object to break into a complainant’s house on Friday, where they stole one television set, one laptop and a microwave, the property is valued at N.dollars 35 939.00.

In a separate case in Rehoboth, an unknown suspect allegedly broke into a complaint’s vehicle and stole two radiators, one electric lamp, one diesel top and a pipe, all valued at N.dollars 11 000.00.

It’s further alleged that the complainant was awakened by a suspicious noise around his yard, and noticed the items missing upon further inspection.

Police investigations in all matters continue.
