Venaani describes Endjala as outstanding business leader

Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) leader, McHenry Venaani, has described the late John ‘Akapandi’ Endjala as an outstanding business leader, saying he will be missed for his warm personality, the forthrightness of his engagement and his tutelage.

Endjala died in Windhoek on Sunday. He was 58.

In his message of condolences availed to the media on Tuesday, Venaani said Endjala was a respectable and upright individual.

“His philanthropy and humanitarianism are ideals worth emulating,” the statement.

Endjala co-owned the John & Penny Group with his wife Penehafo. The group’s business interests include property development, construction and hospitality. He was also a member of the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Funeral arrangements are still to be announced.
