Windhoek: The Katutura Police Station polling station in Windhoek's Katutura East Constituency opened on time on Wednesday, allowing eager voters to begin casting their ballots.According to Namibia Press Agency, presiding officer Elvin Hochobeb stated that two elderly individuals were the first to vote. Hochobeb noted that while the station was originally designated for inmates and prison staff, they are now accommodating all eligible voters in the vicinity.Long queues formed early as residents showed their enthusiasm for the electoral process.
