Windhoek: Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) presidential candidate, Panduleni Itula, cast his vote at Mandume Primary School in Windhoek’s Katutura East Constituency on Wednesday. Itula expressed a sense of satisfaction after participating in the electoral process and motivated the Namibian populace to exercise their right to vote.
According to Namibia Press Agency, Itula encouraged supporters, sympathizers, and members of the IPC to celebrate the occasion with non-alcoholic champagne. He expressed confidence in the outcome of the election and revealed plans to embark on a nationwide tour to express gratitude to the supporters.
Itula emphasized his readiness to travel across the country, extending his appreciation to those who have backed his campaign. He specifically acknowledged the efforts of young campaigners, particularly members of Generation Z, who actively engaged in grassroots efforts by visiting homes and villages to advocate for electoral change.
Presiding officer Loide Eawie confirmed that
voting at Mandume Primary School commenced punctually at 07h00. The orderly start to the voting process set a positive tone for the election day activities.
