Moscow: The composition of the Serbian delegation that will accompany President Aleksandar Vucic on a visit to Moscow on May 9 will be finalized following the establishment of the next government, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin revealed in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to Namibia Press Agency, Vulin stated that the delegation's lineup is dependent on the future government's structure, making it uncertain who will be part of the team. Vulin emphasized that President Vucic will represent Serbia with pride, highlighting his role as a leader of free people.
Serbia plans to send a unit to participate in the military parade on Moscow's Red Square. Vulin expressed confidence that the visit would include "high-level" meetings for President Vucic. He noted the unique significance of May 9 for Serbia and Russia, as both countries celebrate it as Victory Day, in contrast to other European nations that observe it differently.
On March 22, Russian presidential aide Maxim Oreshkin announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic are scheduled to hold talks in Moscow on May 9. This year's event holds particular importance as it marks the 80th anniversary of Victory.
