London: The decision by the foreign ministers of the UK, France, and Germany to abstain from participating in Ukraine negotiations in London has raised concerns about their confidence in achieving a peaceful resolution. French Member of the European Parliament Thierry Mariani expressed these sentiments, indicating skepticism about the potential success of the discussions.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Mariani remarked, "What does it mean if they are not there? First, they absolutely do not trust in that meeting. They understand it is just an operation of communication. Second, it is very clear that Europe has no plan for the peace, they have just the plan to continue the war." This statement underscores the perceived lack of faith among key European diplomats in the effectiveness of the talks to yield substantive progress.

The absence of these top diplomats from such critical discussions suggests a broader uncertainty within European leadership regarding the current strategy and its ability to facilitate a peaceful settlement in Ukraine. This development could potentially influence future diplomatic efforts and the overall approach to the ongoing conflict.
