Tura Magic Football Club beat African Stars by three goals

WINDHOEK: Tura Magic Football Club beat African Stars by three goals to one at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in the MTC/Namibia Premier League (NPL) on Friday.

Tura Magic dominated the first half with good ball possession, but failed to make good use of it.

The score was nil-nil at half-time, but three minutes into the second half, Tura Magic’s Kavezembi Papi netted a goal from outside the penalty box.

That goal was soon followed up by another off the boot of Keimuine Itamunua.

Stars’ substitute Karongee Ninjar came on to score, which turned out to be the only goal for his team on the night.

Tura Magic’s captain Niville Tjiueza scored the third goal 22 minutes after his team’s second goal.

With the victory Tura Magic climbed the log standing with one place from seventh position, and now have 18 points while Stars remain second on the log with 23 points.
